L'Incantaborgo

L'Incantaborgo is a festival with free admission, of itinerant musical, theatrical and artistic performances in general, which enliven the streets and squares of Sinalunga according to the best tradition of Street Theater and which, in addition to entertaining the public, has the purpose of raising awareness on the historic district of Sinalunga and its historic buildings and its underground tunnels, creating an enchanting atmosphere.

The charm of the festival is enhanced by music bands, dance and rhythmic gymnastics performances of the Sinalunga's associations as well as by the photographic and painting exhibitions of local and international artists.

The 2023 edition highlighted the involvement of our two twinned towns of Aÿ-Champagne (France) and Dorking (United Kingdom) which aims to further strengthen the collaboration and friendship that unites the communities to continue develop socio-cultural and economic projects with the two towns.

Among the various side events there is the artisan artistic market organized by the "L'Alternativa Creativa" association, street games and tasty street food organized by local associations.

On Saturday and Sunday, thanks to the availability of the Parish of San Martino and the local associations, the following monuments are open to the public: the churches (Madonna delle Nevi, Collegiata di San Martino, Church of Santa Croce), the historical site of the Misericordia, The Etruscan Rooms of Larth, the Ciro Pinsuti Municipal Theater.

Always on the same days, starting from 21:00 until 23:00 and upon reservation at the municipal tourist office, it will be possible to visit the underground tunnels of the Fonte del Castagno with the Sinalunghese Archaeological Group.
