Castle of Adolfo Ferrari

The historic center of Farnetella is dominated by Adolfo Ferrari's castle built in 1889. He had this residence built by imitating the castles of some noble Sienese families, providing it with all modern comforts, to make it a residence for wealthy vacationers. However, the project, completed in 1903, put a strain on Ferrari's financial resources and remained incomplete. However, the large size of the castle and the adjoining villa characterize the appearance of the entire town.
