Palio della Rivalsa

Born from an idea of the Pro Loco of Bettolle, this “revenge race” recalls the siege of the castle of Bettolle by Ascanio della Corgna. This event takes place on the second Sunday of June, when the five town districts compete in a race that represents the symbolic efforts made by the people of Bettolle to put out the flames of the castle. In the days before the event, dinners and parties are held along the streets of the town.
